Argus gains 11.5%
Argus Group Holdings Ltd was the biggest climber in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading last week, gaining more than 11 percent.The insurer’s share price gained 35 cents, or 11.5 percent, as 77,200 shares traded. Argus closed the week on $3.40.Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd also advanced, adding ten cents, or 2.8 percent, as 5,000 shares traded, to close on $3.60 on Friday.Ascendant Group Ltd, parent of electricity company Belco, also had a positive week, closing 15 cents, or 1.25 percent higher, at $12.15, as 5,500 shares changed hands.Butterfield Bank remained unchanged on $1.23, despite being the most actively traded stock, with 840,705 shares trading.The Royal Gazette / BSX Index ended the week 8.05 points, or 0.75 percent higher, at 1,071.70. More than 928,000 shares traded, and turnover for the week topped $1.38 million.
