International software firm lists on BSX

Apollo Enterprise Solutions Ltd (AES), a US-based provider of advanced technology to banks, has listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.Last Friday, AES chairman and CEO Joseph Konowiecki, visited the BSX headquarters in Victoria Street to mark the listing.AES has offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Lugano, Switzerland. Its “TRUE Credit Portfolio Management” system addresses the entire life-cycle of credit products with an emphasis on credit, collections and recovery.BSX CEO Greg Wojciechowski greeted Mr Konowiecki and Andreea Porcelli, managing partner of Continental Advisors, and presented them with a tombstone to commemorate the company’s milestone.Mr Wojciechowski said the Exchange’s “growth and potential is recognised more and more locally and on the international stage”.“What we do helps companies do what they need to do — to grow, innovate and as a result be a positive influence on the economy which includes job creation,” Mr Wojciechowski said.“Bermuda’s domestic capital market and its highly regarded international business sector has firmly earned the country the reputation as a world class international financial centre.“This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the global capital markets and today is proof of how the BSX is providing support and opportunities to international companies.”The BSX viewed small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as “the engine for economic growth”, Mr Wojciechowski said, adding that the BSX “Mezzanine Market” specifically supported the SME niche.“Achieving and maintaining a listing on a recognised stock exchange conveys a distinction on a company which underscores a commitment to transparency and the upholding of shareholders rights and values,” Mr Wojciechowski added.
