Index falls 0.38 percent

The Bermuda Stock Exchange fell by 4.32 points last week to close at 1,117.48.There was almost $2 million-worth of shares traded during the five days, with three stocks falling in value and one rising.BF&M shares improved in value, closing at $16.25, arise of 25 cents, after 70,000 were traded during the week.Shares of Butterfield Bank lost one cent in value, closing at $1.34 after 307,911 shares traded hands. There was a $5 fall in the value of the bank’s preference shares, which ended the week at $1,232 after 14 were traded.Ascendant Group shares dropped 15 cents in value to $11.50 after 24,939 units traded hands during the week.There was also trading of KeyTech shares, with 15,171 changing hands, but no change to the closing price of $11.50.
