Shares of The Royal Gazette’s parent company, Bermuda Press Holdings rose 15.62 percent ($1.25) on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday. 3,000 shares traded to close at $9.25.Bank of Butterfield preferred shares were also up slightly. The stock rose 0.8 percent ($1.00) to end the day at $233.00 a share.Ascendant Group shares fell 0.86 percent ($0.10) closing at $11.45 a share.Overall, the BSX ended up 0.60 points (0.05 percent) at 1,118.51.
