The stock dropped 2.70 percent ($0.25) to $9.00 a share.Bank of Butterfield shares closed up 0.74 percent ($0.01) at $1.36.Overall, the BSX closed up 4.45 points (0.40 percent) at 1,127.69 before the Good Friday holiday.
