Butterfield up a cent

Butterfield Bank shares rose a cent to $1.40 on a volume of 28,000 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday.

BF&M rose 2.6 percent, or 45 cents, to close the day at $17.50. Some 600 shares in BF&M traded.Overall the BSX closed up 7.82, or 0.68 percent, at 1,163.12.
