Ascendant Group rose 0.1 percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

The energy company, which owns electricity provider Belco, rose one cent to close on $10.01, as 200 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank was the only other stock to trade and it closed unchanged on $1.49.

The Royal Gazette / BSX Index gained 0.09 points, or 0.01 percent, to close on 1,191.66.

Volume was 7,300 shares and turnover was $12,581.

The BSX Insurance Index dropped 5.82 points, or 0.41 percent, to close on 1,414.47.
