Butterfield Bank shares revisited their 52-week high of $1.75 as the shares gained nearly three percent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.

A total of 2,700 shares traded as Butterfield gained five cents, or 2.9 percent.

The biggest advance was made by insurer Argus Group Holdings Ltd, which climbed 35 cents, or 8.8 percent, to close on $4.35, as 100 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 29.89 points, or 2.34 percent, to finish the day on 1,308.16. Volume was 2,800 shares and turnover was $5,160.
