On a quiet day for The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, 44,600 shares were traded, leaving the Index 0.4 of a point (0.03 per cent) lower at 1,355.62.

Shares in Bermuda Aviation Services edged up five cents (two per cent) to close at $2.55, after 5,000 shares were traded.

BF&M stock closed at $18, up 40 cents (2.27 per cent) after 4,000 shares changed hands.

Argus Group’s shares fell five cents (1.31 per cent) to close at $3.75 after 6,000 were traded, while KeyTech also finished lower, down 20 cents (6.25 per cent) at $3 after 9,600 shares were exchanged.

A total of 20,000 shares in Butterfield Bank changed hands, but did not affect the closing price of $1.99.
