Butterfield shares up 2.5%

Shares of Butterfield Bank improved by four cents (2.5 per cent) to close at $1.65 after 3,800 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The stock was the only one traded, with the Index closing up 17.62 points (1.52 per cent) at 1,191.73.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 13.76 points (0.86 per cent) to close at 1,590.03.
