BSX ends week up 2.06%

Argus Group, Bank of Butterfield and Ascendent Group all saw their share prices rise on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index last week.

Leading the pack, Argus improved by 27 cents (7.8 per cent), to $3.99, after 2,700 shares were traded, while Bank of Butterfield rose five cents (3 per cent) to close at $1.70 after 64,545 of its shares changed hands.

Also going up was Ascendent Group, the parent company of Belco, which improved five cents (1 per cent) to close at $5.05 after 4,400 shares were traded.

Shares of telecoms firm KeyTech fell 26 cents (9.4 per cent) to $2.50 after 4,400 were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index finished the week at 1,217.08, up 25.09 points (2.06 per cent). The BSX Insurance Index was up 6.40 points (0.40 per cent) at 1,593.10.
