Butterfield and BF&M shares rise

Shares of Butterfield Bank and BF&M Ltd rose on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, lifting the index 22.78 points (1.87 per cent) to 1,239.47.
Butterfield Bank saw its stock improve five cents (2.9 per cent) to close at $1.75 after 14,200 shares were traded.
Insurance company BF&M had its shares lifted five cents (0.3 per cent) to close at $17.20 after 100 changed hands.
The value of transactions on the index was $26,330.
The BSX Insurance Index rose 1.16 points (0.07 per cent) to 1,614.98.
