Three stocks fall on BSX

A total of 103,180 shares worth $231,578 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The Bank of Butterfield saw 103,480 shares move, leaving its price six cents (3.4 per cent) down at $1.68.

Insurance firm Argus fell 20 cents (five per cent) to $3.80 after 3,000 of its shares sold.

And fellow insurer BF&M dropped one cent (0.1 per cent) to $16.99 after 1,500 of its shares changed hands.

Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd, the parent firm of The Royal Gazette, saw 1,000 shares move, leaving its price down 35 cents (5.1 per cent) at $6.50.

Utilities firm Ascendant was unchanged at $5 following the sale of 2,200 shares.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 30.92 points (2.55 per cent) at 1,183.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day at 1,518.93 — down 15.37 points (one per cent).
