The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 4.41 points or 0.36 per cent at 1,229.27.

The Bank of Butterfield dropped one cent, or 0.56 per cent, to $1.75 after 500 shares sold.

Utilities company Ascendant was unchanged at $4.70 after 3,400 shares traded.

Bermuda Aviation Services was also unchanged at $2.25 after 200 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 21.43 points, or 1.33 per cent, at 1,592.12.
