The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 1.13 points, 0.09 per cent, at 1,218.24.

The sole trading of the day was 2,000 shares in insurance company BF&M, which saw the share end the day down 15 cents, or 0.9 per cent, at $16.75.

The BSX Insurance Index closed down up 0.82 points, 0.05 per cent, at 1,649.84.
