Butterfield climbs on BSX and NYSE

The Bank of Butterfield registered gains on both the Bermuda Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange today.
The Bermuda price of the bank rose 25 cents or 1.1 per cent to $23.75 after 9,800 shares traded.
And in New York, the stock rose 32 cents, or 1.33 per cent, to $24.37.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 11.24 points, or 0.73 per cent, at 1,554.47.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 18.95 points or 1.13 per cent at 1,651.38.
