Argus shares close 2.2% higher

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ended the week at 1,635.93, down 2.5 points

Shares of Argus Group gained 10 cents, or 2.2 per cent, last week, closing at $4.60 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index on Thursday.

The Exchange was closed on Friday for the Remembrance Day public holiday.

Also improving during the week were shares of HSBC Holdings, which improved 20 cents, or 2.64 per cent, to close at $7.75 after 4,246 changed hands.

Ascendant Group went up one cent, or 0.1 per cent, to $6.98 after 106,870 were traded.

Meanwhile, shares of BF&M dropped 60 cents, or 2.9 per cent, to close at $19.90 after 5,700 were exchanged.

A total of 12,397 shares of Butterfield Bank were traded, but with no change to the closing price of $25, and there was no change to the $2.50 closing price of KeyTech Ltd, after 2,000 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank closed on Friday at $28.73, up $2.49 from their closing price the previous Friday.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ended the week at 1,635.93, down 2.5 points, or 0.15 per cent.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 12.54 points, or 0.75 per cent, at 1,692.32.
