It was a quiet day on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, with only two stocks seeing trading.

BF&M Ltd remained at $19.90 after 1,000 shares traded, while Butterfield Bank was unmoved at $27.75 after 110 shares changed hands. On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares fell 82 cents, or 2.82 per cent, to $28.21, after 23,989 traded.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 1,766.32. The BSX Insurance Index closed down 3.68 points, or 0.21 per cent, at 1,708.86.
