In the only trading of the day, financial services holding company Somers Ltd was unchanged at $13.75 after 190 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield went up 37 cents, or 1.15 per cent, to $32.48.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 7.05 points, or 0.40 per cent, at 1,774.48.
