Shares of insurer BF&M rose by five cents, or 0.2 per cent, to close at $20.55 after 7,191 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
Ascendant Group slipped five cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $7.20 after 10,036 shares were exchanged, while KeyTech’s shares closed at $2.50, down one cent, or 0.4 per cent, after 7,000 traded.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield Bank’s shares closed at $34.08, down 26 cents, or 0.76 per cent.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index ended the day at 2,007.66, down 0.24 points, or 0.01 per cent.
The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,847.36, up 1.91 points, or 0.1 per cent.
