Butterfield shares drop $1

Bank dip: Butterfield shares fell 3 per cent in BSX trading
The Bank of Butterfield dropped $1 in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.
The fall, equal to 3 per cent, left the bank at $32.50.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Butterfield fell 1 cent, or 0.03 per cent, to $33.14.
Insurance firm Argus climbed 20 cents, or 4.4 per cent, to $4.75 after 864,800 shares moved.
Fellow insurer BF&M saw 2,689 shares change hands, leaving the firm up 45 cents, or 2.2 per cent, at $21.
Utilities firm Ascendant Group rose 5 cents, or 0.7 per cent, on the trading of 1,000 shares.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 37.05 points or 1.83 per cent at 1986.55.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 2.12 points, or 0.11 per cent, at 1,845.24.
