Butterfield Bank shares rise 25 cents

Butterfield Bank shares moved higher on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index
The Bank of Butterfield closed up 25 cents at $32.75 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The move, equal to 0.8 per cent, came after 10,325 shares changed hands.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank was also up — 38 cents, or 1.13 per cent, at $33.87.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 11.24 points, or 0.57 per cent, at 1,991.78.
The BSX Insurance Index closed down 0.75 points, or 0.04 per cent, at 1,871.34.
