BF&M was the only stock traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Shares of the insurer improved by 15 cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $20.75 after 6,600 were exchanged.

Although Butterfield Bank shares were not traded on the local exchange, on the New York Stock Exchange they improved 27 cents, or 0.82 per cent, to $33.27.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed at 2,035.34, up 1.15 points, or 0.06 per cent.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 4.15 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 1,858.6
