Somers shares rise 4%

A move upwards in the price of Somers shares helped The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climb
Financial services holding company Somers Ltd today rose 50 cents to $13 on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
The move, equal to 4 per cent, came after 212 shares changed hands.
The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $34 after 1,900 shares traded.
And utilities firm Ascendant was also unchanged at $7.51 after 60 shares moved.
On the New York Stock Exchange, the Bank of Butterfield fell 2 cents, or 0.06 per cent, to $34.89.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 3.33 points, or 0.16 per cent, at 2,041.60.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 7.88 points, or 0.41 per cent, at 1,922.21.
