Butterfield shares rise in New York

Bank of Butterfield shares went up 18 cents, or 0.52 per cent, to $35.06 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged at 2,079.24 after a day of no trading.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 2.99 points, or 0.16 per cent, at 1,914.15.
