Four stocks finished higher for the week on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

The best performer was Bermuda Aviation Services, which was up 20 cents, or 10 per cent, at $2.20 after 12,400 shares traded.

HSBC Holdings improved 40 cents, or 4.37 per cent, to $9.75 after 1,100 share were exchanged.

Ascendant Group edged up, improving by six cents, or 0.7 per cent, to $8.95 after 16,659 shares were traded during the week, while Butterfield Bank improved 15 cents, or 0.4 per cent, to $34.25 after 2,250 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 8.25 points, or 0.4 per cent, at 2,063.06.

It was not such a good week for the BSX Insurance Index, which fell 35.56 points, or 1.9 per cent, to 1,839.54.
