BSX holds steady

Butterfield Bank's shares did not trade on the BSX today, but in New York, they fell 2.8 per cent
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed unchanged on 1,972.56 today after a day of no trading.
Butterfield Bank’s New York-listed shares fell 93 cents, or 2.8 per cent, amid a broad-based sell-off on Wall Street. Butterfield closed at $32.47, just below its Bermuda Stock Exchange price of $32.51.
The BSX Insurance Index dipped 22.52 points, or 1.2 per cent, to close on 1,884.15.
