With five stocks falling, The Royal Gazette/BSX Index dropped 73.26 points, or 3.72 per cent, to 1,972.56 last week.

Shares of Butterfield Bank were down $1.49, or 4.4 per cent, to $32.51 after 2,100 traded during the week.

One Communications was nine cents lower, or 4.1 per cent, at $2.11 after 14,589 shares were exchanged, and Argus Group Holdings was down 15 cents, or 3.7 per cent, at $3.95 after 15,376 traded.

Another faller was Ascendant Group, down 11 cents, or 1.2 per cent, at $8.89 after 2,200 traded.

BF&M Ltd closed the week 15 cents down, or 0.7 per cent, at $20.60 after 7,300 shares changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 3.77 points, or 0.2 per cent, to 1,880.38.
