Butterfield hits 52-week high

Butterfield shares rose to lift The Royal Gazette/BSX Index by 1.6 per cent
Butterfield Bank shares climbed 2.2 per cent to a new 52-week high in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading today.
The bank closed 75 cents higher at $35 on the trading of 4,900 shares. Its New York Stock Exchange-listed shares fell 6 cents to close on $35.12.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 33.73 points, or 1.6 per cent, to close on 2,089.47.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 5.85 points, or 0.3 per cent, to close on 1,834.99.
