West Hamilton Holdings Ltd was down $1.90, or 31.7 per cent, at $4.10 after 500 shares were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also ending lower was Butterfield Bank which dropped 50 cents, or 1.1 per cent, at $45 after 8,100 shares changed hands.

On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares were up 56 cents, or 1.24 per cent, at $45.70.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 25.04 points, or 0.98 per cent, at 2,536.71.

Somers Limited purchased 100 of its own common shares at an average cost of $14.25 per share, during February. The shares will be cancelled with immediate effect.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 3.72 points, or 0.2 per cent, at 1,824.31.
