HSBC shares fall on BSX

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed 0.08 pf a point higher
Shares of BF&M Limited improved by one cent, or 0.1 per cent, to $17.01 after 300 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
HSBC Holdings dropped $1.15, or 10.64 per cent, to $9.65 after 1,600 shares were exchanged. There was also trading in 325 shares of Butterfield Bank, but with no change to the closing price of $45.
On the New York Stock Exchange Butterfield Bank’s shares were up 92 cents, or 0.21 per cent, at $46.62
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 0.08 of a point at 2,536.79, while the BSX Insurance Index climbed 6.25 points, or 0.33 per cent, to 1,917.24.
