Shares of BF&M Ltd dropped by 44 cents, or 2.6 per cent, to $17.50 after 4,226 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Another faller was Ascendant Group, which was five cents down, or 0.5 per cent, at $10 after 3,300 shares were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 3.85 points, or 0.15 per cent, at 2,589.56.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 35 cents, or 0.75 per cent, at $46.46.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 0.24 points, or 0.01 per cent, at 1,916.12.
