Devonshire shares fall 26% on BSX

Devonshire Industries shares fell sharply on the BSX
Shares of Devonshire Industries Ltd lost more than a quarter of their value in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The parent company of Bermuda Paint, Devonshire fell $1.50, or 26.1 per cent, to close on $4.25 as 2,000 of its shares traded.
Butterfield Bank remained unchanged on $46, as 600 shares changed hands. In New York, during the broader market sell-off, Butterfield’s shares fell $1.59, or 3.4 per cent, to close on $45.30.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 0.62 of a point to close on 2,575.3. Volume was 2,600 shares and turnover was $36,100.
The BSX Insurance Index fell 30.6 points, or 1.6 per cent, to close on 1,898.79.
