Butterfield shares fall 1%

Butterfield Bank shares pulled back on both the BSX and the New York Stock Exchange
Shares of Butterfield Bank fell 1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The bank closed down 50 cents at $49.50 as 18,500 shares worth $915,700 changed hands.
Butterfield’s US-listed shares fell 31 cents, or 0.6 per cent, to $49.20 in New York.
The bank was the only stock to trade on the BSX. The Royal Gazette/BSX Index fell 22.49 points, or 0.8 per cent, to close on 2,816.35.
