Argus shares fall 8.4% on BSX

Shares of Butterfield Bank rose 1 per cent on the BSX
Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd slumped 8.4 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.
The insurer slid 31 cents to close on $3.40, as 112,860 shares changed hands.
Butterfield Bank climbed 50 cents, or 1 per cent, to close on $50, as 12,500 of its shares traded. In New York, Butterfield’s US-listed shares gained $1.23, or 2.4 per cent, to close on $51.10.
Ascendant Group Ltd also traded. The Belco owner remained unchanged on $16.45 as 10,100 shares were exchanged.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index climbed 16.29 points, or 0.58 per cent, to close the day on 2,821.23.
The BSX Insurance Index climbed 9.23 points, or 0.54 per cent, to close on 1,727.13.
