Three stocks trade on BSX

Shares of Ascendant Group, BF&M and One traded on the BSX

Three stocks traded yesterday on the Bermuda Stock Exchange, but their prices all remained unchanged.

Ascendant Group was the most heavily traded stock, with 8,000 shares changing hands as it remained on $16.75.

BF&M closed unchanged on $16.06 as 2,500 shares were exchanged. A total of 1,400 One Communications shares also traded as the telecommunications services provider closed on $3.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index remained on 2,113.87. Trading volume totalled 11,900 shares and turnover was $178,350. For the week, the index added 39.98 points, or 1.89 per cent.

Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares gained 83 cents, or 2.4 per cent, to $35.54 in New York to climb more than $1 above the bank’s BSX-listed shares, which last traded at $34.50.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 3.02 points, or 0.2 per cent, to close on 1,529.13.
