Ascendant improves by 2.8%

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 4.82 points at 2,160.7
Shares of Ascendant Group were up 50 cents, or 2.8 per cent, at $18.50 after 16,000 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.
There was also trading in 23,000 shares of One Communications, but with no change to the closing price of $3.
In New York, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 34 cents, or 0.97 per cent, at $34.86.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 4.82 points, or 0.22 per cent, at 2,160.7, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 66.7 points, or 4.41 per cent, at 1,625.26.
