A total of 18,400 shares of Butterfield Bank changed hands on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, but there was no change to the closing price of $35.50.

Meanwhile, in New York, the bank’s shares were down 43 cents, or 1.15 per cent, at $37.06.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,237.15, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 7.05 points at 1,449.56.
