No shares were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which remained unchanged at 2,329.16 points.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 48 cents, or 1.26 per cent, at $37.54.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 14.5 points, or 0.98 per cent, at 1,463.87.

In separate news, Ascendant Group Limited reported it repurchased 50 of its common shares at an average price of $20 on Monday. The company advised the repurchased shares will be cancelled.
