Argus shares gain 20%, One up 15% on BSX
Both Argus Group Holdings Ltd and One Communications Ltd posted double-digit share-price gains on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Insurer Argus rocketed 53 cents, or 20.7 per cent, to close on $3.09 on the trading of 3,000 shares.
Telecommunications group One leapt 45 cents, or 14.8 per cent, to close on $3.50, as 92,065 shares were traded.
Ascendant Group Ltd, owner of Belco, also saw trading activity, closing unchanged on $31 as 3,988 shares traded.
Meanwhile, Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares fell $1.08, or 3.15 per cent, to close on $33.22 on the New York Stock Exchange. Butterfield last traded on the BSX at $33.30.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index gained 16.78 points, or 0.76 per cent, to close on 2,216.84. Over the week, the index fell 5.41 per cent.
The BSX Insurance Index slipped 17.11 points, or 0.98 per cent, to close on 1,736.73.
