Butterfield Bank shares improve on NYSE

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 16 cents, or 0.51 per cent, at $31.31.
The Bermuda Stock Exchange was closed due to the Boxing Day public holiday.
On Thursday, no shares traded The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 1,987.77. The BSX Insurance Index was up 13.66 points, or 0.87 per cent, at 1,589.53.
