Butterfield down 1.4% on NYSE

There were no trades on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which was unchanged at 2,594.91.
The BSX Insurance Index was up 25.07 points, or 1.47 per cent, at 1,724.74.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were down 53 cents, or 1.41 per cent, at $37.09.
Separately, Butterfield Bank said that during March it repurchased for cancellation 54,828 of its common shares at an average price of $38.41 per share.
