Butterfield shares gain 4.5% in New York

The RG/BSX Index closed unchanged at 2,546.67, as no shares changed hands on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Butterfield Bank’s US-listed shares closed up $1.48, or 4.5 per cent, at $34.38 on the New York Stock Exchange.
