Bank stock continues to rise on NYSE

The RG/BSX Index rose 53.64 (1.97 per cent) to close at 2,782.83 after 6,800 shares traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. closed up a dollar (2.5 per cent) at $40.50 after 6,300 shares changed hands.
BF&M Ltd. remained unchanged at $23 after 500 shares traded.
The bank finished up 21 cents (0.52 per cent) at $40.86 on the New York Stock Exchange.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up nearly two per cent to close at 2,782.83
