Butterfield shares rise in New York

The RG/BSX Index rose 9.13 points (0.37 per cent) to 2,470.21 after one issue traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
BF&M Ltd. closed up a dollar (5.0 per cent) at $21 when 20,200 shares changed hands, valued at $424,200.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited closed at $34.78 on the New York Stock Exchange, up $1.01 (2.99 per cent).
A 5.0 per cent rise in the price of BF&M Ltd. shares led to a 0.37 per cent rise in The Royal Gazette/BSX Index
