Bank stock higher in New York
The RG/BSX Index closed up 1.19 (0.05 per cent) for the day at 2,364.05, with two insurance stocks the only movers on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd. was down a nickel (0.8 per cent) to $6.30 after the trading of 14,000 shares.
BF&M Ltd. was even at $20.00 after the trading of 58,365 shares.
For the week, the index closed down 18.26 or 0.77 per cent with one decliner.
The Bank of N.T. Butterfield Ltd. closed unchanged at $33.00 after 2,817 shares changed hands.
Argus was also back to where it started the week at $6.30 after the trading of 25,000 shares.
The decliner was BF&M Ltd., down $2 (9.1 per cent) to $20 on the exchange of 95,165 shares.
In New York, Butterfield finished up 76 cents (2.24 per cent) at $34.63 at the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange.
