The RG/BSX Index finished down 198.67 points (6.72 per cent) to close at 2,759.18 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday.
This was based off the trading of 4,323 shares of Butterfield Bank, which finished down $3.55 (7.9 per cent) to close at $41.20.
The total turnover was $178,116.
Butterfield Bank was down 93 cents (2.05 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange and closed at $44.34. The volume of shares traded was 143,458.
