The RG/BSX Index climbed 41.97 points (1.41 per cent) to close at 3,014.65 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Only Butterfield Bank saw activity with 500 shares changing hands, the price rising 75 cents to finish at $45.75. The turnover was $22,875.
Meanwhile Butterfield fell 90 cents (1.93 per cent) on the New York Stock Exchange to end the day at $45.75. The volume was 117,070.
