Bank closes higher

The Royal Gazette/BSX index was rose 14.7 points
The RG/BSX rose 0.47 per cent, or 14.7 points, to 3,174.32 after a single issue traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Allshores Ltd rose 7.5 per cent, up $1.50 after 1,247 shares traded and the stock closed the day at $21.50.
Butterfield Bank rose 84 cents (1.68 per cent) to close at $50.84 on the New York Stock Exchange.
