BSX ends week down

Total weekly turnover on the Bermuda Stock Exchange is $1,187,715.65
The RG/BSX Index ended the day at 3,281.51, up 28.78 (0.88 per cent) after the trading of 7,000 shares of Butterfield valued at $355,400 on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Butterfield gained 50 cents (1.0 per cent) to close at $51.
For the week, the index was down 5.35 (0.16 per cent), with 55,659 shares traded at the cost of $1,187,715.65.
In New York, the bank fell 23 cents (0.44 per cent) to $51.80 by the close of the New York Stock Exchange, after peaking yesterday at a 52-week high of $52.16.
